A bunch of riders from BayBUG and Junior Cyclist found a great way to spend a wet and windy Saturday by doing an Advanced First Aid Course. Our facilitator Adam is a keen cyclist and thoroughly answered every question we threw at him. Compared to the course I did over 20 years ago, more weight has been placed on understanding but we all felt confident with the treatment procedures. The day was pretty full-on but the atmosphere was cordial and we had time for a laugh. A big thankyou to Stelio for organising the event and to Louise for keeping hunger at bay.
